Welcome to Fernland Spa Thermal Mineral Springs.

We hope you enjoy your stay at our tranquil, natural campervan facility. Please pay on arrival at pool reception.

(This includes free access to the main pool during the hours)

Please be aware that the pool cleaner works from 1 am to 5 am each morning, sometimes using toxic cleaning chemicals – please avoid the areas around the private pool rooms and the main pool during this time.

 

Property Access

From 10:30 pm the property is closed to the public with a gate at the top of the driveway, it opens automatically when leaving the grounds. You need a code to access the property, which can be obtained from our reception staff.

When you check in you agree to abide by the following terms and conditions:

 

Arrival and Departure

Please check in at reception when you arrive. Check-in Is from 2 pm. Check-out time is prior to 10 am on the day of your departure.

 

Accounts

The account balance is payable on arrival. There is no refund for early departure.

 

Deposits

Your reservation is confirmed on receipt of your deposit. Payment of a deposit will reserve a site for 24 hours from the proposed arrival date. Your site will be re-let by 12 noon the following day unless notification has been received. The cabin’s key must be returned by 10 am on the day of departure, a $10 charge for any key lost.

 

Cancellation

We require any cancellations to be done 24 hours prior to your stay before check-in time at 2 pm, if cancellations are received after 2 pm you will not get a refund.

 

Conduct and behavior

Try to maintain complete silence between the hours of 10:30 pm and 7 am. Reasonable behavior and dress at all times. Campers 18 years and over may consume alcohol on their own site only. Alcohol will not be tolerated around the grounds or in communal buildings. No excessive drinking or parties on the grounds. The manager will cancel occupancy if behavior or activities occur that disrupt the effectiveness of the running of the campgrounds. Please respect and consider your fellow campers at all times.


Youth Policy

persons ages 17 years and under must be accompanied by a responsible adult or parent.

 

Sites

Awning and tent ropes are not to be connected to trees, hedges, or fences and must be connected within the marked boundaries of the site. Drawbars must face the roadway to enable rapid relocation in case of an emergency. Campers must provide their own waste container.

Kitchen facilities are provided for the campers only. Please leave the kitchen clean and tidy. Please dispose of all rubbish in the bins provided. Laundry facilities: There are coin-operated washing machines and dryers that cost $4.00 that are available and are located in the kitchen.

 

Cabin facilities

All the cabins are not self-contained, we have shared bathrooms and toilets to use. We don’t provide bedding, please bring your bedding. Bottom sheets and pillows are provided.

 

Barbeques

Portable gas barbeques are permitted.

 

Lost property

Will be held at reception and donated to charity after a month period.

 

Property Damage and Theft

The campground owners shall not be held responsible for the loss, theft, or damage of any property for any reason, regardless of the cause, including the fault pertaining to any fitting, appliance, or piece of apparatus within the vicinity of Fernland Spa. Please ensure that valuables are secured and all vehicles’ doors are locked.

 

Speed Limit

The speed limit is 5kph at all times for all vehicles.

 

Vehicles

One vehicle per site, and visitors must park in the main car park.

 

Emergencies

In the event of an emergency, please assemble at the assembly point, the top hot pool’s car park.

 

Electricity

Tents may be connected to power boxes with approved RCD leads. Vans left unoccupied on a site must disconnect their power leads.

 

Fire safety

There must be a 3-metre firebreak between tents, caravans, and other accommodation facilities, drawbars, and guide ropes excluded. Site holders must familiarise themselves with the evacuation plan for the campground and comply with it in case of a fire.

 

Fires and Fireworks

No fireworks are permitted in the campgrounds. Open fires are also prohibited.

 

Smoking

No smoking around the communal areas and buildings.

 

Animals

Animals are not permitted inside the campgrounds unless prior arrangements have been made with the manager.

 

Children

Parents, for safety, please supervise your children, keep them away from the driveway, and actively supervise them when using the pool.

 

First Aid

Trained first aid staff and first aid assistance are available at reception.

 

Shower and toilet facilities

Please use the shower by the kitchen block or the main ablution block. The shower room is available 24/7, as well as the toilets in the changing rooms by the reception.
